Telford Homes starts Brentford 420-homes scheme

The Capital Interchange Way development near Chiswick High Street will consist of three residential blocks of varying heights, built over a linking podium base that will contain shops with street frontage, and undercroft car and cycle parking.

Telford is working in partnership with housing association Catalyst and nearly half the flats will be for affordable rent or shared ownership.

Redrow had previously been Catalyst’s partner on the project and achieved planning permission and prepared the site for construction works.

However, as part of Redrow’s decision to exit the London residential market, the house builder decided to withdraw from the development

Jerome Geoghegan, Group Land Planning Director at Telford Homes, said: “Working alongside Catalyst to deliver this project, supplying high-quality affordable housing in a prime location, has been a delight.

“We have spent a long time in the planning process, ensuring that everything is perfect before work commences and we are pleased to see our vision beginning to come to life.”
