This year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG, one of North America’s largest construction trade shows, is set to kick off tomorrow 14 March 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre (LVCC).
Over five huge days the event will feature more than 1,800 exhibitors and over 175 education sessions, with this year’s show nearly 5 per cent bigger than the record set in 2020.
Attendees can expect to see industry leading construction equipment manufacturers and service providers exhibiting at the show, including Hitachi, Caterpillar, Liebherr and Komatsu.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show Director Dana Wuesthoff said the addition of the new West Hall and Diamond Lot at the LVCC will provide the ideal platform to take the construction industry to the next level.
“Now at 2.8 million square feet of exhibits, there’s more for construction pros to see than ever before,” said Wuesthoff.
Recent additions to the LVCC will make it easy for attendees to get around. Beneath the entire LVCC campus runs the Convention Centre Loop, an underground transportation system designed by Elon Musk’s The Boring Company. Free of charge, the loop transports convention attendees throughout the campus in under two minutes via Tesla vehicles.
Brian Yost, Chief Operating Officer of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, which owns and operates the LVCC, said he is excited for the return of CONEXPO-CON/AGG in 2023.
“The addition of the West Hall and the Convention Centre Loop will only further enhance the ‘Only Vegas’ experience for attendees and exhibitors,” said Yost.
CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show Chair and Caterpillar Senior Vice President Phil Kelliher said construction professionals can’t miss this year’s event.
“Seeing the new equipment and techniques on a screen doesn’t compare to seeing it all in person,” added Kelliher. “At the show, you can see the equipment, ask questions of the manufacturers themselves, and really understand what the equipment and education can do for your career and business.”
