Omnix International announces new VP of Engineering and Foundation Technologies

Simran Bagga has been promoted to Vice President of Omnix Engineering and Foundation Technologies, according to solution provider Omnix International. As part of her new role, she is responsible for accelerating the company’s growth and leading its solutions ecosystem.

The firm said the move is in line with its plans to double down on its growth strategies, regional investments and driving closer partner and customer engagements. Omnix International said it has over 35 years of experience in providing digital infrastructure, digital transformation, computer-aided engineering, cybersecurity, cloud computing and managed services to customers around the globe.

Explaining her role further, Omnix noted that she is responsible for strengthening relationships with technology partners and customers, and building its solutions and services portfolio across multiple markets in the region. She also oversees the launch of new products and services through a streamlined process designed to help regional partners and customers thrive in today’s dynamic digital landscape, the firm pointed out.

In June 2022, Big Project Middle East announced that its popular ME BIM Summit would evolve into the Digital Construction Summit, and will take place on 14 September in Dubai. Attendance is complementary for construction professionals who register.

“We are thrilled to have Simran lead the Omnix Engineering and Foundation Technologies team. She brings a deep understanding of the regional business and will be instrumental for our next stage of growth. Commenting on her promotion, Bagga remarked, “In a distributed digital work environment, partners and customers are seeking pioneering solutions and services that can empower them to focus on core business activities. Omnix stated that she “brings a wealth of channel business acumen and expertise to her role” and that she is “enthusiastic about pushing boundaries and embracing change to challenge the status quo and bring in innovation”.

Late in June, Omnix and Abu Dhabi Municipality said that they had collaborated to push a mandate relating to infrastructure projects, while in July, Omnix Engineering’s Bhaskar Raman told Middle East Construction News (MECN) that “the convergence of digital twins and the Metaverse brings in tools for data generation and behavior prediction”.
