Saudi Arabia’s National Housing Company has picked Hill International Middle East to project manage the new city of Dahiyat Al-Fursan to the northeast of Riyadh.
Once complete, Al-Fursan will comprise 50,000 housing units, plus schools, offices, and infrastructure.
Intended to house 250,000 people, the development covers 35 million sq m, including 6 million sq m of parkland, the NHC said.
Hill will manage all of Al-Fursan’s first and second sub-developments and infrastructure packages.
Hill senior vice president Dr. Adel Jemah said the goal of the project was “to help Saudi families own their own homes in desirable, welcoming locations with the services and infrastructure they expect”.
