Contractor Curo hands all staff £1,200 to help with cost of living crisis

The firm said: “To help assist with the rising cost of living. the board of directors have decided to award all staff with a £1,200 per year pay rise.

“The rise will be effective from 1st July which will not impact their annual pay review. The board would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire team for their constant support.”

Curo is owned and managed by Darren Pettitt and Steve Conlin who founded the business in 2013 folloiwng three decades of senior management spent with Shepherd Construction, ISG and McLaren.

Latest results for the firm to the year ended September 2021 show a pre-tax profit of £1.8m from £1.7m last time as turnover grew to £33.3m from £17.6m and the company employed 41 staff.
